MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their well-known yellow tent in Milan, creating a public, walk-up space for practical help and one-to-one guidance, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to daily problems. Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents meet trained volunteers directly and learn straightforward methods for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well eu news uk as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake and the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquakes, and have also assisted during recent floods in Marche (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help remove mud and debris and restore access.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation efforts and support for families in need. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including more than 160 consecutive Saturdays of clean-up and assistance, extending across all nine municipalities of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as sending essential goods to Ukraine.
